Pretty soon after our long Santa Barbara weekend, we are off on another adventure.
First stop, NJ. We were fortunate to be in time for the cherry blossoms. Not only are they at their peak in Branch Brook Park, but right in font of mom's house in Halycon Park. I don't know when these trees were planted, but I don't remember them at all from my childhood. Of course, it is very possible these trees are over 30 years old and now in their blooming glory. Whatever the story, I sure enjoyed seeing them, here in early May, right in front of the house.
