Morning Light

Before the rain started this morning, there was this wonderful light, the light that can only be reflected against a darkening sky, letting the colors show forth true and not washed out by too much sun.  There were a few openings in the dark clouds and the rising sun cast a pink glow through them.

On the ground, the browns of the wet waterfall, the greens of the budding rose of sharon tree, and the light and dark pinks of the jasmine on the fence combined to create one of those "nature's palettes" that only comes on such a morning.

It was beautiful morning light!
