Ensa-Scrapping Caprese Style

Visiting Capri is an easy daytrip from Sorrento, catching the speed ship at Marina Piccola and zipping over in a cool and comfortable 20 minutes, in a jetboat with airplane seats and lots of them, dumping tourists onto the tiny island.  But it is a pretty place and definitely worth the visit.

The very first thing one does in Capri is catch a funicular and zip up to the top of the hill, from which one sees the following views.

Like other towns on the Amalfi Coast, the Caprese landscape is dominated by ceramics and lemons and punctuated with bright flowers.   I loved seeing a staircase faced with lemon ceramic tiles and an entryway full of fruit and flowers bidding welcome.
Oh and always like watching the Italian men hanging out...what a nice place to hang out! Capri 2
