Continuing Along the Amalfi Coast

Our first major stop along the Amalfi Coast, other than the stops at every bend for a Kodak moment photo, was in the colorful town of Positano.

John Steinbeck published an essay about Positano in Harper's Bazaar in May, 1953:
"Positano bites deep", Steinbeck wrote. "It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone."

Oh how true, and so it continues to beckon for a more lingering visit, which I hope is in our future.
Meanwhile, pictures keep the dream place alive.
