June in Sorrento

Next up in my series of June Photos of the Day (POTDs) is 4 photos from our stay in Sorrento.  This includes the day trips made along the Amalfi Coast and to Capri.  This area of Italy is wonderfully beautiful and restful.  There is not much to do besides look at the beautiful scenery, eat fresh food and revel in lemony products.  It's the kind of place where English tourists come for 3 weeks, just to see what it feels like to be in the warm sun (you can pick them out as the sunburned tourists).

I've continued this series using another of Maya de Groot's Double Dippers templates, along with papers from Maya's Snap kit (how perfect is that lemony paper??).  I extracted a lemon from a picture taken a few months ago in the back yard, and created a custom text path inside it (of which I am proud, not so much because it was difficult, but because I dread text paths as being difficult).

  1. We went to Pompeii the day we stopped in this area on our cruise and we said next time... Sorrento! Great pages and brings back sunny memories of our family's vacation last fall. TFS!
