Cherishing Now

The next page in my cherish mini album has to do with "being in the now". Each page has forced me to think long and hard, sift through pictures, and rake through memories for one both personal and impersonal at the same time.

All the pictures chosen to date are somewhat recent, which doesn't mean there aren't wonderful memories from the past, it just drives home the point that journaling and scrapbooking help us to remember!

This photo was taken from a warm and sunny spot at a cafe in Bruges, just off the main square.
It was a relatively cold day in march, but the warm sun in the protected square, reflecting off the warm stone wall behind us, making the spot sublime.
Megan and I, a cappucino and a beer, sitting and people watching...through the narrow opening between the buildings, we could just catch a glimpse of the tower, the tower now made famous by a rather gruesome scene from one of our favorite movies, In Bruges...and now I shall never forget it!
