In the Garden - Pink on Pink

Looking out the kitchen window, I spied a cluster of pink roses heavy with the weight of the full-petalled blooms. And in the far back corner, the pink blossoms of the hydrangea bush.

Although there is a good 10 or more feet between them, I was struck by the pink over pink in the flat visual plane, surrounded by the green of the rose leaves, the hydrangea leaves, the overhanging redwood tree, and the back of the bench, and worked hard to capture the scene.
