Art and a Play on Words...

I really enjoy a play on words, and so couldn't resist seeking out this book shop in the Marais in Paris, playfully called "Mona Lisait", which translates to "Mona Read".
Given the current theories about Mona, this is very likely a true statement.

My favorite play on words comes from the old joke, "what's black & white and read all over", easier to understand when written than spoken.
I must have been about 5 when I first heard it.

A recent Small Format Art (SFA) group "black & white" challenge resulted in this postcard sized textile art piece, entitled, what else,
"Black & White & Read All Over".
