A City at One's Feet...

We don't always need lots of color to express an idea or theme in quilt art. Like the bored gargoyle... is he bored because the gray city at his feet lacks color today? Or is he just musing on what's going on beneath the exteriors in the vibrant City of Lights?

What's going on behind these gray gates?

ACEO Sweets, Diane Weber, 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"

This ACEO was modeled after the cover to one of my favorite books / stories, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Remember the gates that hid the chocolate factory? These gates really open, and when opened, reveal candyland!
